How was it done

The background was created with Paintshop Pro (inkjet printed) using the gradient (varigated) tool
by selecting the colours from the challenge colour template.  The main image's background was tilted to form the diamond of the sketch challenge.

.Paint.nett is FREE but you don't have the full range of options as Paint Shop Pro, which can be downloaded for 30days trial.

But............. and there's always a but, I don't think this is my finest hour :(  There's something about the texture of the card that doesn't come together.

It's difficult not to try and do the same one again, each time slightly changing the colour & adding another stamp,  I tried and the plain and simple seems to work best with the 'reflection'  Now had it not  been for the challenge Mytime to Craft 'It takes two' I don't think I would have thought of the idea.

Totally flat with just Tilda as a (physical) layer
You might be able to see the slight sparkle of the card

There is two things I've always wanted to try, one was to use a sketch and make it using Paintshop Pro, instead of sizzors & glue! and the second was to make a digital mask print on the card, then STAMP.  It worked!  clear stamps would have been better.  Come to think about it, I use that technique to create the sky with the Tilda Winter Night scene, but never the focal image
Apart from my Christmas cards most of all others are either given to charity or given as gifts in sets of six with personalise inserts for the sender (i.e. name and address on the left hand inside). I'm therefore reluctant and it's not my style to decorate unless they flatten, i.e. like butterflies
Cryogen card is fantastic, I've often mentioned it and use it quite a lot, colours mute when printed but with combined Promarkers the colours seem to uniform with the sparkle on top.  But you can't over-work the Promarkers else it will mottle.
OH! and yes it took AGES to make !!

Anysize, anyshape .... anytime ;)

What a surprise, OK this is as basic a step card as you can make it, from an A6 (A5 folded) but the first I've ever done.  I suppose it's having enough of the right images & accessories to put it together.  I'm thinking these days no one uses peeloffs and I'm feeling my stash is a bit antique :(

Just a little information about the card.  These are two clipart\tube graphics from share sites connected with Paint Shop Pro graphics programme.  The ''tag'' card was made for a fellow crafter, I needed something that would turn in order to take advantage of the double 'motion' of falling out of the tree.  The background is created from the branch\leaf from the tree, then repeated with the fill tool.

I can't very often infuse about my own work, I'm never really satisfied,  I try to aim for quality and style of the work I've seen on other blogs.  But I realise one thing, we all have our own ''eye'' and style.  When I came to this card it actually goes against all that in recent years I've come to do regularly that thats an A5 (foldedA4); it's it's too much inkjet if you go that route or two heavy to 'decorate'

But I have to say this was a total surprise and I was really proud and pleased of this one.  It gave anything I wanted.

As they say, welcome to the first of the month.  And as such Ithought I would have to start with my, shall I call it signature layered, beaded & wired butterfly.  Just on a note of A6 embossing folders, which until now I found difficult to use on square cards, secret seems to make a FEATURE of the plain un-embossed area, on last Months challenge, I used the plain area at the bottom to place my label,  but I saw a similar idea to above using a wider ribbon to cover the un-embossed area with a fantastic effect.
